The future of intralogistics with KUKA and Faptech's PT200 AMRs
Faptech reinforces its position at the forefront of industrial automation with a next-generation palletizing cell, designed to operate in a regime of total continuity and maximum safety.
At the core of the operation, the KUKA KR 140 robotic arm ensures precise, fast load handling, boosted by a dual pallet-infeed system; this strategic configuration means the line never stops: while one pallet is completed, the second is already waiting in position, eliminating downtime.
System efficiency is raised by full integration with the PT200 AMR fleet. Through intelligent task management, the system generates automatic pick-up calls as soon as a pallet is finished, ensuring a predictive, uninterrupted outbound flow. The entire cell is protected by a redundant safety system that includes dividing fences and photoelectric barriers with muting technology, allowing the smooth movement of materials and robots without compromising the integrity of the safety perimeter.
Beyond the productivity gains, this project focuses on valuing employees. By automating palletizing, Faptech eliminates the need for manual handling of heavy loads and exposure to repetitive physical strain. This technological transition drastically reduces the risk of injury and physical wear.
