The future of intralogistics with KUKA and Faptech PT200 AMRs
Faptech reinforces its position at the forefront of industrial automation with the implementation of a state-of-the-art palletizing cell, designed for total continuous operation and maximum safety.
At the core of the operation, the KUKA KR 140 robotic arm ensures precise and high-speed load handling, powered by a dual-entry pallet system. This strategic configuration ensures the line never stops: while one pallet is being completed, the second is already in a waiting position, eliminating downtime.
System efficiency is further enhanced by full integration with the PT200 AMR fleet. Through intelligent task management, the system generates automatic pick-up calls as soon as a pallet is finalized, ensuring a predictive and uninterrupted outflow. The entire cell is protected by a redundant safety system, including safety fencing and photoelectric barriers with muting technology, allowing for the fluid movement of materials and robots without compromising the safety perimeter.
Beyond productivity gains, this project focuses on employee empowerment. By automating the palletizing process, Faptech eliminates the need for manual handling of heavy loads and exposure to repetitive physical strain. This technological transition drastically reduces the risk of injury and physical wear.
